Overhead line fittings mainly include suspension clamps, tension clamps, connecting fittings, splicing fittings, protective fittings, cable pulling fittings. details as follows:
Suspension cord clamp. It is used to fix wires on the suspended insulator strings of linear towers, or to hang lightning protection wires on linear towers. It can also be used to support transposed wires on transposition towers, and to fix routes on non-linear towers.
Tension-resistant wire clamp. It is used to fix conductors on the tension insulator strings of load-bearing towers and to fix lightning protection wires on load-bearing towers. It is divided into two categories: bolt type and compression type according to different uses and installation accessories.
Connect hardware. It is used to assemble insulators into strings, connect the insulator strings, and hang them on the tower cross arms. It includes special connecting fittings and general connecting fittings.
Continue the hardware. It is used to connect wires and lightning protection wire terminals, connect jumpers of non-linear towers and repair damaged broken wires or lightning protection wires.
Protective hardware. It is divided into two categories: mechanical and electrical. Mechanical protective hardware is to prevent wires and lightning protection wires from breaking due to vibration, and electrical protective hardware is to prevent insulators from premature damage due to uneven voltage distribution.
Wire pulling hardware. It is mainly used to strengthen, adjust, and connect the cable rods and cables, including tightening, adjusting and connecting parts.
In addition, overhead line hardware includes commonly used types such as M-shaped iron hoops, U-shaped hoops, guy wire hoops, hanging plates, heart-shaped rings, etc. These fittings are crucial to ensuring the power system's stable operation and extending the lines' service life.
