Power fittings are metal accessories that connect and combine various devices in the power system and play a role in transmitting mechanical loads, electrical loads and some protection. According to the functional structure, power fittings can be divided into suspension clamps, tensile limit price, connecting fittings, protection fittings, equipment clamps, T-shaped clamps, busbar fittings, cable fittings and other categories. According to the use, they can be divided into line fittings and transformer fittings. According to the product unit of power fittings, it is divided into malleable cast iron, forging type, aluminum copper and cast iron. According to the main performance and use of hardware, it can be roughly divided into the following categories.
1) Suspension fittings, also known as support fittings or suspension clamps. This kind of hardware is mainly used to hang wire insulator strings (mostly used in linear pole towers) and to hang jumpers on insulator strings. 2) Anchor fittings, also known as fastening fittings or wire clamps. 3). Connecting hardware, also known as hanging wire parts. This kind of hardware is used to connect insulators into strings and to connect hardware to hardware. It bears mechanical loads. 4), connect the hardware. This kind of hardware is specially used to connect various bare wires and lightning protection wires. The connection bears the same electrical load as the conductor, and most connection fittings bear all the tension of the conductor or lightning protection wire. 5), protective hardware. This kind of hardware is used to protect wires, insulators, etc., such as voltage equalizing rings to protect insulators, heavy hammers to prevent insulator strings from being pulled out, and anti-vibration hammers and protective strips to prevent wire vibrations. 6), contact with metal tools. This kind of hardware is used to connect hard busbars, soft busbars and outlet terminals of electrical equipment, T-connections of wires and unloadable parallel connections, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, contact hardware is required to have higher electrical conductivity and contact stability. 7) Fixed hardware, also known as power plant hardware or high-current busbar hardware. This kind of hardware is used for fixing and connecting various hard busbars or soft busbars and pillar insulators in power distribution devices. Most of the fixed hardware is not used as a conductor, but only plays a role in fixing, supporting and suspending. However, since these fittings are used for large currents, all components should have no hysteresis loss.
