Overview
JBT insulation piercing connectors / conector perfurantes are applicable for low voltage aerial cables.
These connectors are used to establish connections between bare cable and insulated aluminium cable or insulated copper cable.
Installation of JBT can be easily done by tightening bolts while main line and tap line are connected simultaneously. Stripping of insulation is avoided for top line.
Features:
● Used for branch connection
● Main line: bare cable
● Tap line: insulated aluminium cable or insulated copper cable
● Body is moulded from tough and weather resistant materials.
● Special designed shear head bolt allows efficient installation within specific shear-off torque. Constant force ensures teeth penetrate cable without damaging mechanical strength of conductor.
● End cap is attached to boty. No loose parts could fall off during installation.
● Elastic seal and silicone grease are applied to guarantee excellent waterproof and corrosion resistant performance.
● Tested for watertightness test.
