Requirements for the use of resistance reducing agents
Release time: 2024-04-17
Resistance reducing agents are widely used in lightning protection and grounding projects, but they cannot be used casually. The application of resistance reducing agents will cause harm to the environment, causing the soil to be contaminated by a large amount of harmful metals, cinders, etc. Therefore, the use of resistance reducing agents requires special rigor.
In daily life, resistance reducing agents increase the risk of electric shock when people use high-power electrical appliances such as water heaters. If the grounding body fails and the water heater used for showering malfunctions and causes leakage, and the person does not remember to turn off the power when taking a shower, then the person taking a shower is likely to be electrocuted to death. Moreover, after the down-conductor is corroded by the resistance-reducing agent, the risk of using other high-power electrical appliances that require grounding protection will also be greatly increased. Since ordinary people do not have relevant knowledge, even if an electric shock accident occurs, they will not think that the accident is related to the resistance reducing agent. They will only think that the electrical appliances are old and they will often have to admit that they are unlucky. It should be noted that if the grounding body is intact, it is relatively safe to use ordinary high-power electrical appliances. Even if those high-power electrical appliances leak, the current will not flow through the human body and cause an electric shock accident.
