Definition of copper-clad steel flat steel: It has the advantages of thick copper layer, low resistance, strong resistance, convenience, and good electrical connection performance. It is widely used in grounding devices of power transmission and transformation and communication lines, power stations, buildings and antennas. It is also It can be used in the grounding system of electronic equipment such as computers, and can be combined with air terminals (lightning rods, lightning protection wires) and down conductors to form a lightning protection grounding device.
Copper-clad steel grounding conductors are produced using a cold-rolled and hot-drawn process, which overcomes the shortcomings of the electroplating method and the casing coating method such as poor bonding force. Copper-clad steel composite materials have good electrical conductivity and high mechanical strength, especially the outer copper layer has good properties, so they have been widely used in grounding devices. Current relevant standards stipulate that grounding conductors can be made of copper-clad steel composite materials.
